2019 Quintosol

This iteration of Quintosol finds Cabernet Franc taking us on safari - it has charted the course, rolled the windows down, and cranked the music up. Cabernet Franc rules the playlist with an iron fist and is not accepting requests. Explosive aromatic shrapnel confronts the nose with a shockwave of gamey, dark cocoa powdered red fruits. Supported by Sangiovese, Tannat & Aglianco, this wine rousts the mouth with a cacophonic cascade of tannic tonality. Roast beets. Roast carrots. Toss spicy greens. Throw together some bucatini all’Amatriciana. Transmit coordinates to Quintosol. Decant. Dig in. Have good time. Wash (dishes), rinse, repeat.
